LED ZEPPELIN BIOGRAPHY

That of Yardbird played their last concert in Luton Technical College in 1968. But what seems to an end, proved the beginning of three highly successful careers in music. The careers of guitarists Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. It seems the three could not agree on anything creatively in the Yardbirds. They were leaders.
After breaking bands, Jimmy Page was left with little more than a series of concert obligations. He started playing with John Paul Jones, a session musician, who had collaborated with the likes of the Rolling Stones, Herman's Hermits and Dusty Springfield. The duo discussed forming a new group, but ended up delaying their plans to back Donovan on his hurdy-gurdy LP.
After listening to the intention of Pages "to start a new band, vocalist Terry Reid suggested Robert Plant listening. When the page had the opportunity to see the plant, not only ended her voice like Jimmy, but his stage presence . Planta, in turn, suggested that they recruit John Bonham, drummer for his age group in Birmingham, Band of Joy. The foursome clicked so well that toured Scandinavia in October 1968 under the name the New Yardbirds.
In 1969 the group changed its name to Led Zeppelin, recorded and released their first self-titled album. Within two months, the album reached the Billboard Top Ten. The album is essentially Zeppelin most blues-driven release. Early style page so strongly attracted to the blues that Willie Dixon later won a large settlement of copyright infringement. Rumour has it that some of the titles of songs from the first version ripped old blues titles, but only changed one word phrases in these songs.
Led Zeppelin II and every release after has attained Platinum status, and in 1973 the group began to break box office records set by the Beatles. In 1975 Led Zeppelin was the band's most commercially successful rock in the world.
The group disbanded after the tragic death of drummer John Bonham. He died of what is medically termed as asphyxiation: inhaling his own vomit during sleep after a binge. His blunt style has made the bands sound with the remaining members decided to leave everything. Without Bonham there could be no Led Zeppelin.
The mighty Zeppelin has experimented with various musical styles in the reign of the bands. Their sound began with the blues and heavy metal thunder, softened to mystical Folk and fallen into the realm of Funk, Psychedelic Rock, and the merger and integration of all these styles. Maybe that's why his music has reached the permanent value that only two groups have been able to secure, the Beatles and Pink Floyd.
